For owners · Growth

It works. It's growing. And there's far more in it.

You have taken it further than you planned, and it is still going. The next stage is one you haven't done before, and it needs time you don't have. That is where one of us comes in.

How we come in

Three ways, and you choose.

Your number two
An operator who takes the day-to-day off you, so you are free to go after the big things yourself.
Your new market
One of us leads the push into a new market, on the ground. North America most of all.
Your sounding board
A seat on your board and a phone that gets answered, from people who have taken businesses from nothing to something before.

Who it's for

Established, growing, and ready for more.

It already works
Customers who come back, a team in place, and a track record through good years and bad. We don't back ideas.
It's growing faster than you planned
You started it as one thing and it is becoming something much bigger. You haven't run this size before, and you would like people beside you who have.
You're staying
You keep running the business, and it keeps its name and its people. We are there to take it further with you, not to take it over.
Not for us
Ideas that haven't traded yet, and anything we can't understand in one meeting. If it isn't for us, you'll hear that in the first hour.

North America

The biggest prize, and where we have been building.

25.6%

of the world economy is the United States.

IMF World Economic Outlook, April 2026. 2026 projection.

6.4×

the size of the UK and Irish economies put together.

We led an international engineering group's North American business through a period of rapid growth, built a $40m business there from scratch, and now have three businesses in the United States. Our network is centred on Dallas-Fort Worth, which added more than 120,000 people in the year to July 2025, the second-biggest gain of any US metro area.

It doesn't have to be North America. We know the UK and Ireland best, and between us we have done business on six continents, from Europe and the Middle East to India, Australia and South America.

How it works

Four steps, and you're in the room for all of them.

  1. 01

    An hour

In confidence, with one of the three of us: what the business is, where it's heading, and what you want from the next five years. Not a sales pitch.

  2. 02

    A written review

A few weeks with you, then a written report: where the growth is coming from, what is holding it back and what would speed it up. It is yours to keep, whatever you decide.

  3. 03

    The right person in

One of us, or somebody from our network we would trust with our own money: as your number two, to lead a market, or on your board. You meet them before anything is agreed.

  4. 04

    We build it with you

A plan with numbers on it, agreed up front, and people beside you who have done it before.

The deal

We're paid for our time, and we share only in the growth we create.

Never in what you have already built. That stays yours, unless you choose to sell some of it. If the business doesn't grow, you have paid for our time and nothing else.

And if you have spent years putting every penny back into the business, we can also talk about taking some money off the table. Everything is written down before anyone starts.

Before you ask

The questions owners ask first.

Do I have to sell anything?

No. Everything you have built stays yours unless you choose to sell some of it. We share only in the growth we create together, and that is written down before we start.

Who actually comes in?

One of the three of us, or somebody from our network we would trust with our own money. You meet them before anything is agreed.

What does it cost?

We are paid for our time, like anyone you would hire to do the job. Beyond that, we only do well if the business does.

Is it only North America?

No. We know the UK and Ireland best, and we have done business on six continents. North America is simply where the biggest prize usually is.

Will anyone know we have spoken?

No. It stays between you and the three of us, and nothing goes further without your say-so.

Start with an hour.

In confidence, exploring the options with one of the three of us. Not a sales pitch.
